Conceptual artist Federico Uribe uses mundane objects for his projects. In Color Construido, that object happened to be the basic, kid-friendly colored pencil. By cutting pencils of all kinds, Uribe creates impressive drawing-sculpture hybrids. His work has been featured in countless magazines, including Architectural Digest, Vogue and The NY times.
