Japanese Artist Creates A LEGO Castle That Opens In A Pop-Up Book

I was one of those kids who was absolutely obsessed with LEGO. I loved collecting the sets that were famous in the 90s and early 2000s, and I soon had a massive box of instruction manuals and several large color-coordinated rolling sorting drawers for the millions of pieces in my possession. And yet I came nowhere close to this man and his skill.

A Japanese YouTuber known only as talapz is the brain behind this incredible feat of plastic engineering. Somehow, he has managed to construct a gargantuan pop-up book of Japan’s famous Himeji Castle. It was no easy feat, taking him 15 months to complete out of nothing more pieces of LEGO. It’s absolutely incredible.
