Levitation Through Sound: Three-Dimensional Mid-Air Acoustic Levitation

The future is here! For the first time in history, three-dimensional levitation was achieved with sound waves. Using ultrasonic speakers so that nothing is heard, small particles were successfully suspended and manipulated in mid-air under gravity. The experiment was also successful with small objects such as screws, LEDs, and resistors.
