Space is a vast, inspiring, dangerous, and beautiful place. Our presence, no matter how meager and limited, is a testament to the spirit of adventure that seems inherent in humans. Spanning from the first manned test flight of Apollo 7 through to the final Apollo 17 mission, a portrait emerges of those four incredible years. These are pictures to look upon when you wish to reflect on just what great things we have accomplished when united, and what great things we remain capable of doing.
