Picturesque Landscapes Captured With Embroidery

Peruvian artist Ana Teresa Barboza makes embroidery cooler than your grandma could. With yarn, wool and embroidery, Barboza is able to mimic the movement of waves or grass for her pieces from her 2013 Suspension series.

Barboza continues to explore the concept of knitting as an art form with her latest collection TEJIENDO EL INSTANTE (Weaving The Moment). The cut wood mimics a tap, while the knitted element gives the piece the illusion of flowing water.
