Las Vegas is a land of contrasts. It’s a booming desert metropolis that must also be careful with its water. There is abject poverty and homelessness next to high rollers who struck it big in Sin City. It’s a place famous for its tackiness, as well as its luxurious allure. Stuck in the middle is a barista named Mason Salisbury.
When it comes to Las Vegas, there are only two avenues of thought people will follow; it is a a den of vice and sin and should be an embarrassment, or it’s so oddly unique it should be celebrated and cherished.
No matter which side of the coin you may fall upon, most of us can agree that the city is fascinating in some way, and rarely is that ever more beautifully captured than by Mason’s incredible works of colorful coffee art.
Since April of this year, Mason has been surprising customers with rainbow-colored lattes and cappuccinos. They are perfectly safe and edible, and make for a dazzling surprise when you are accustomed to more traditionally prepared coffees.
The tie-dye style foam is created with regular food colouring, and then creatively poured.
