Stephen Knapp is no stranger to the light – after all, he’s been using it to produce art for over 30 years. In his most recent exhibit, he uses light and dichroic glass to project a barrage of rainbow-colored beams at a wall to create amazing effects.
While Knapp has been exhibited around the world, he’s currently on show at the Pensacola Museum of Art in Pensacola, Florida. Take a look at some of his works, then check out a mini-documentary showing off his pieces below the photo gallery.
He does not sketch out his work before hand, opting instead to fiddle with his fixtures till each piece looks juuuust right. He employs no other media – no pens, no paint, no anything. It’s a pain-staking process that requires a keen eye and absolute precision.
Take a tour of his exhibit in the mini-documentary below!
