Zalewski Architecture Group in Poland has created an innovative way to provide office employees with a green space at the office. In Gliwice, Poland, several office buildings are joined together by a communal courtyard. The courtyard is stone, and rather bare. The architects at Zalewski came up with a unique way for workers to enjoy the sunshine. A suspended pathway hangs over the courtyard. It’s shape supplies employees with an interesting pathway to enjoy on their lunch hour. The walkway itself is thin in width to allow for more sunlight to reach the courtyard below. Additionally, it is mirrored to create a nice aesthetic when looking at it from below.
