Making its debut on a long forgotten lot in Buffalo, New York, this a ‘tree’ unlike any other. Designed by area artist and sculptor Michael Beitz, this impressive picnic table has become a feature in Buffalo’s East Side. Located right next to an urban farm, the tree-shaped picnic table will be used for farm-to-table dinners and art classes.
Michael’s works often feature obstacles or some kind of insensibility or impracticality. In this instance however, he has sought to bring people together in a beautiful and creative way. The entire project involved pine and blue pine specimens, and took him roughly two years to complete.
